How can I apply for Accessibility Tickets for a child?
If the disabled person is under 18 years old (or does not have the legal capacity to apply for tickets), an adult companion/personal assistant should submit the application for Accessibility tickets. However, you should upload the proof of eligibility of the minor. As the ticketing account details will not match the details indicated in the proof of eligibility, we kindly ask you to include a note in the file to be uploaded on the portal. The note should briefly explain why the details are not matching (the document can be written in a free form). This will help our partner, CAFE, to check the documents and validate them.
Here is an example of how the note could be formulated:
“I’m applying for tickets on behalf of my disabled child / grandchild, named [first name, last name], born on [date of birth].”
Please bear in mind that the note must be provided to avoid delays and problems with the validation process.
